ZRINJSKI - Borac 84:81 (25:21, 23:19, 16:19, 20:22)
And we had another thriller in ABA 2! This time, it all happened in Mostar, where Zrinjski prevailed over Borac in a dramatic ending.
The home team were up by 80:78 with 40 seconds left on the game clock, but the visitors had the ball-possession. Ilija Đoković wanted the be the hero as he pulled up for the 3-pointer... But, he missed the shot and on top of that he then made an unsportsmanlike foul!
Still, it was not over!
Zrinjski player Aleksandar Sokolović made both free throws for 82:78, while later on he was fouled and sent to the free throw line once again, but this time he made just one - 83:78.
On the other side of the court, Borac center Đorđe Majstorović was fouled while attempting a 3-pointer and he made all of his 3 free throws - 83:81. With just 7 seconds remaining on the game clock, Borac squad had to make a quick foul on Zrinjski player Marko Ramljak who made 1 out of 2 free throws - 84:81. Therefore, Borac had once last chance to take this game into overtime, but Radovan Đoković missed the 3-points attempt in the final seconds.
This is certainly a huge blow for Borac as they are trying to reach the Playoffs zone, but there are still 5 rounds left to be played in the regular season.
