Round 9 starts with the big game in Domžale

Round 9 of the 2019/20 regular season starts on Tuesday evening with the big game in Domžale, where Helios Suns are about to host Sutjeska. Both sides have the overall score of 5-3, while only two teams in the league have a better overall record than Helios Suns and Sutjeska at this moment. It means that this is the battle for the top and the winner of this match will make a major step toward the 2020 ABA 2 Playoffs.

The next game of this round is scheduled for Wednesday evening, when Lovćen 1947 Bemax will host Sloboda. Lovćen 1947 Bemax have scored 3 wins so far in this season and they have scored all of them at home court. The boys from Cetinje are still undefeated when playing in front of their fans, while on the other side Sloboda are winless on the road, as they have lost all 4 away games so far in the ongoing season.

The remaining four games will be played on Thursday evening.

We have a big clash in Široki Brijeg, where league newcomers Široki will host Borac. Split, who have lost the previous 3 games in the season, will host Rogaška, who have won the previous 3 games in the season. Although Split will have the precious home-court advantage in this match it must be mentioned that Rogaška is one of the best away teams in the league with the overall score of 2-2 when playing on the road.

Dynamic VIP PAY is another team who has a perfect home-court record, while they are also in a very good form, as they have won 3 out of the previous 4 games in the season. This week, the Belgrade troops will host the 2^nd placed team on the standings – MZT Skopje Aerodrom, who lost the previous two away games.

Finally, in the last match of the round Novi Pazar will face Spars. Novi Pazar have improved their position on the standings significantly after scoring two consecutive wins in the championship, while Spars are still the only team in the league who haven’t scored a single win so far.
