Local rivals fight for the Playoffs

It’s time for Round 11 of the 2019/20 ABA League 2 regular season!
We start this week’s schedule with the match of the round! Helios Suns face Rogaška on Tuesday evening, with both teams fighting for the Playoffs. Helios Suns have the perfect home-court score so far in the season as they have won all 5 games in Domžale. On the other side, their local rivals Rogaška are the 3rd best team in the league looking only the away score. That’s why the upcoming match should be very, very interesting.
Round 11 continues on Wednesday evening with the match between Sloboda and Spars. It’s the clash of the two last placed teams on the standings. Sloboda have scored just 2 wins so far in the championship, while Spars have triumphed just once.
The other four games are scheduled for Thursday.
Široki, who lost the previous 3 games in ABA 2, are about to host Split, who won the last two games in the season. Both teams have the same overall score at this moment and they are both trying to get inside the Playoffs zone. What is also interesting to mention about this duel is that Split made a coach change last week, as Ivica Skelin replaced Ante Grgurević. Skelin, who therefore returned among the famous Yellow crew after a year-and-a-half, will sit at the Split's bench in the upcoming match.
Lovćen 1947 Bemax will try to defend their home-court fortress in the clash against MZT Skopje Aerodrom. The boys from Cetinje are still undefeated at home court, but they are now facing the team which is holding the 2nd place on the standings and which has lost just two games in the entire season.
In the last two games of Round 11, Dynamic VIP PAY will try to break their 2-game losing run in the match against 3rd placed Sutjeska, while league newcomers Novi Pazar will try to keep their perfect home-court score in the match against top placed team on the standings – Borac.
