Another basketball spectacle in Čačak – Borac vs. Split

With just 5 rounds left to be played in the 2019/20 regular season, the race for the Playoffs heats up. And this week we will once again have several games that might determine which teams will eventually get the precious Playoffs tickets.

Round 18 will start on Wednesday with the match between Lovćen 1947 Bemax (8-9) and Novi Pazar (6-11). Lovćen 1947 Bemax have won the previous two games in the league and they still have chances to reach the Playoffs. That is why the home team will be fully motivated in the upcoming match against the visitors from Novi Pazar, who are holding thwe 10th place on the standings. We will just add that Lovćen 1947 Bemax have won 7 out of 8 home games so far in the season.

Sloboda Tuzla (5-12) will host Dynamic VIP PAY (7-10) in the clash of two teams from the bottom part of the standings. Neither side is in a really good form. Sloboda have won 2 games out of the last 5 rounds, while Dynamic VIP PAY have triumphed just once in the same period.

Thursday's schedule will start with a big match between Rogaška (10-7) and Sutjeska (8-9). This is a direct battle for the Playoffs, while the home team has a good momentum. Rogaška have scored two very important wins in the last 3 rounds, while Sutjeska are on 4-game losing streak.

We are in front of another basketball spectacle in Čačak as this week Borac (15-2) will host Split (9-8). The home team has already booked their Playoffs ticket, but they still haven’t sealed the 1^st place in the regular season, which is why they won’t lack motivation in the upcoming match. On the other side, Split have won 4 out of the last 5 games in the season and have therefore moved up to the 5^th place on the standings. The only problem for the visitors might be that they have won just 1 out of 8 road games so far in the 2019/20 ABA 2 campaign.

MZT Skopje Aerodrom (12-5) will face Helios Suns (8-9) at home court. This game is quite important for each side as MZT Skopje Aerodrom want to finally book their Playoffs ticket, while Helios Suns are trying really hard to get back into the Top 4 zone.

In the last game this week, Spars Realway (4-13) will host Široki (10-7). If we look just at their current season score, Široki should get the role of clear favorites, however Spars Realway have improved their form significantly over the last month and they have scored 3 wins out of the last 4 games. Therefore, this local derby should be very, very interesting.
