Get ready for the derby week in ABA League 2!
Round 19 is right in front of us, while we have several big Playoff battles scheduled for the next couple of days. The first of them will be played in Domžale where Helios Suns (9-9) will host Borac (16-2) on Tuesday evening. Helios Suns scored a huge away win against MZT Skopje Aerodrom in the last round and the Purple troops have therefore rejoined the race for the Playoffs. On the other side, Borac have already secured the 1st placed in the regular season, so they will use the last 4 rounds to prepare themselves for the Playoffs.
The second game of the Tuesday’s schedule will be the clash between Dynamic VIP PAY (7-11) and Spars Realway (5-13). Dynamic VIP PAY have won just 1 game in the previous 5 rounds, while Spars Realway are in a much better form, as they have won 4 out of their previous 5 games in the championship.
Wednesday’s schedule will begin with the game in Cetinje where Lovćen 1947 Bemax (8-10) will face Rogaška (10-8). Lovćen 1947 Bemax simply have to win this match in order to stay in the race for the Playoffs, while Rogaška need a win to remain in the Top 4 zone.
Basketball fever has taken over Split, as the famous Yellow crew have a chance to reach the ABA 2 Playoffs for the first time ever. Split (9-9) will host a direct rival Sutjeska (9-9) on Wednesday evening and whoever wins this match will make a major step toward the 2020 ABA 2 Playoffs.
The last match of the Wednesday’s schedule will be the one between Novi Pazar (7-11) and Sloboda (6-12). Both sides have improved their form significantly over the last month, while they both scored per 3 wins in the last 5 rounds of the regular season.
The match of the round awaits us at the end! Široki (10-8) will host MZT Skopje Aerodrom (12-6) on Thursday evening and you will be able to watch this match live on TV Arena Sport. Each side is trying really hard to book a Playoffs ticket and that is why this game should be very, very interesting to watch.
